Little Stinker

Well when I went up to get Madison out of bed the other day(the day she went to bed without her night night), the little stinker had one. I did not search her bed good enough before I layed her down. She found one tucked in the corner. I looked and found 2 more. Her I thought that an hour and a half of crying was not to bad, but in reality it just took her an hour and a half to find a night night. We were gone a lot this weekend so she still has been sleeping with it. I guess when we get back from Becky's on Tuesday we will try agian.

Mean Mommy

Well I have finally decided that Madison is old enough to sleep without her "night night". It took about an hour and a half for her to stop crying. I hope that she is finally asleep but I am afraid to go look and make her cry agian. It is hard to let her keep crying. Hopefully she will not fight this to much. We will wait and see how tonight goes.

Halloween

We went Trick or Treating in Fredericktown with Ashlee's family. Her grandma's live in town and Ashlee asked us if we wanted to go with them this year. Darren even went with us. Madison had fun but when she finally figured out that she was getting candy put in her bag she did not want to wait to eat it so she got a sucker while we were walking. By the end of the night she was holding her own bag and telling people thank you. I am glad that it was warm out so the kids did not freeze.

Morning wake up

The weekend is finally here. If the rain holds off we will be freezing our behinds off tomorrow night at a bonfire. Last night Darren was working on putting tire's on new rims, boy am I glad that he does that and not me it is a lot of hard work. I ended up watching the girls for Sam because she had a really bad headache. It was good until Masey decided she had to go potty. From there it got a little crazy, I was trying to keep Masey on the potty and Madison off. By the time we got home and in bed Madison decided that she did not want to sleep and was playing with her railing on her bed so it kept making noises, I told her it was time to go to sleep and she started crying eventually she went to sleep and I finally got some sleep but this morning Darren's phone went off at 5:00 am. All of his friends think that since they are up getting ready for work everyone else should be up. One of these day's I will answer his phone and not be as nice as he is.

Work

It is now official that I have to go back to work. Yesterday one of the girls I babysit for told me that she is quiting her job in January. Also Darren's cousin Joni does not know if she is going to have a job in January so I guess as much as I love being home with Madison I have to go back to work. I have decided that the babysitting thing is just not reliable. Maybe this way we will actually be able to save some money and sell our house. Living in town is not for me and as Madison gets older I think she would like to have some animals so we defiantly need to move out of Galion.

Madison has started to throw fits. When she does not like what we tell her she stomps her feet and squeals. She was quickly introduced to the corner which she does not like at all. I have also tried to take her night night away from her but she just starts sucking on her fingers when I do that so I guess we will just have to deal with it for a little while longer. She mainly only has it when she is sleeping or riding in a car.
Last Saturday Cindy took us to quarter horse congress in Columbus. Darren use to go all the time when he was younger but I had never been there. It is a huge horse show that is at the state fair grounds the entire month of October. The horse trailers that they sell there have living areas in them. Most of them are nicer than my house and cost more. Darren told me about them before we went but I was still amazed. They have a bathroom and with a shower some of them even have fireplaces in them. Madison's favorite part of the horse trailers were the ramps for the horses to get in the trailer. She would walk around to the back of the trailers and run up and down the ramps. I think that she is going to be an outdoor girl. She loves animals. Any time that she sees a duck in a book or on TV she starts saying quack quack. I think everyday she is starting to say a little more. She will be 20 months on the 23rd. It is crazy to think that she will be 2 in a few months my little baby is growing up faster than I want her to. She is also starting to look more like Darren. I will try to get a baby picture of Darren and post it so everyone can see how much she looks like her daddy.

summer

Can you belive it summer is almost over. It is hard to belive this was my first summer not working at the bank. I thought I would have more time to get things done. Madison and I started out the summer going to visit Beth and Henry in Florida at the beging of May. Madison was not so sure about the ocean at first but she did love picking up the sea shells on the beach. When we got home we were busy getting ready for a wedding. Darren's brother Will got married so we were helping Ashlee get ready for the wedding. A week before the wedding Sam's daughter Macy broke her leg and had to have a it in a cast for 6 weeks so when ever I had time between babysiting I went to help her out. Debbie and I also took the girls to Len and Diana's wedding in May. In July Darren decided that he wanted to repaint his truck so that was a two week project that he and Chip worked on. That of course was over the 4th of July so while Darren was busy working on his truck I went to mom's and had fun camping out with everyone. Madison even camped out in the tent with us I guess you could say that was her first camping experiance. I don't know what happened to the rest of the summer but it was fair time before we knew it and we were getting ready to spend time at the fair. Darren's brother Will ran his truck in the rough truck on Thursday night then on Friday Darren decided to try his luck at the truck pull. He did pretty good and he didn't even brake his truck thankfully. His brother also pulled his dad's truck and got 5th place. His cousin Dusty got first place. So Friday night was pretty fun. On Saturday we went to the mud run both Chip and Will have mud trucks so we spent the day watching the mud run. They are done for the year and I can not say that I am upset about that. On Monday of the fair Madison perticipated in the stick horse race she was so cute and had a ball. When I can figureout how to post my videos I will put it on. Now that the kid's are back in school I am babysitting for Allisa one of Darren's cousins little girls. I also am watching Jillan who I have been watching all summer and I should have two more here in a few more weeks. Bettween all of them and Madison I keep pretty busy. This weekend is James birthday and Macy's on sunday. Darren works on Saturday so I'm not sure what Madison and I are going to get into. She seems to be getting smarter by the day. She still does not really talk much but she knows what is going on. Today I learned that she is mean to kids that she does not know. I was watching a friends little boy today and she kept trying to hit him in the head. She never does that to Riley or Macey so I don't know why she was doing that today. Her new thing to do is push chairs to the counter so she can get things off of them. I will be sure to keep everyone updated on how we all are doing.
