Silly pics of Madison

Madison was so proud of herself the other day, she came into the kitchen smiling then I noticed her stickers on her legs. She sure has been keeping me busy.

I was playing on facebook today and looked at Madison and could not resist taking her pic.

Mommy I sleep good!

Madison and I went to Sam's house today since Darren had to work and Chip was gone all day we decided to spend the day together. Madison and Macey laid down to take there naps and a few hours later I heard Madison knocking on her door, when I opened it up she said I sleep good Mommy.

Darren was gone thiseavning so Madison and I spent some fun time together. First we went to the park where Madiosn had a ball going down the big slide. I asked her if she was ready to leave after a while and she said yeah ice cream. I had not said anything about going and getting ice cream so I don' t knwo where that came from. Since she asked so nicely we went and got ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Then we came back home and played outside for a while. Finally I decided that we would go do our shopping that I had been puting off since it was so nice outside. First we stoped at TSC, I have been trying to find Madison a new pair of cowboy boots since she has outgrown all of her other boots. I was excited to find they had baby chicks there for sale. Madison has never seen a baby chick before so she got to pet them and of course she had to see insided every container that had baby chicks in. We made a few more stops then headed home to see Daddy.

Easter

Madison woke up this morning and the first thing she asked Darren when he went to get her up was "Easter come?" Lastnight Madison and I got out the easter baskets and put them on the table. Explained to her that if we leave them there the Easter Bunny will come and leave stuff in her basket so she was waiting all night. She went strait to her basket this morning to see what he left her. Then we waited on Aunt Ashlee and Uncle Willy to come over and watch her hut eggs outside. She had a blast and we had fun watching her.

Potty training

I am happy to say Madison is almost potty trained. All of the sudden it finally clicked last week. Yesterday she only had two accidents. Today I was even brave enough to leave her in her underware for her nap. She did great. She is still wearing diapers for bed and pull ups at work. I am afraid that she might have an accident at work and their entire house has carpet in it so for now I can deal with putting pullups on her. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that she keeps being a big girl. I am so proud of her.

Madison no loger answers no to everything. Her new favorite word is Yah. When ever I tell her I love her it's yah mom. Yesterday Aunt Ashlee watched here and took her to visit her mom at work. Everyone loved her and someone even asked her if she wanted a pice of candy and of course her answer was yah. You may think that is a normal answer but when Madison says it she does not get excited at all. When she says yah it seems like it is killing her just to say it. Another of her favorite saying right now is NO momma. Sometimes I think if I here those two words out of your mouth agian I just might scream.

A baby Boy.

We just found out today that Darren's brother Will and Ashlee are having a baby boy. Madison will finally have a cousin on the May side of the family and it is going to be a boy. We cann't wait until Aug.

Again, Again.

Monday Darren and I took Madison shopping at the mall. Darren decided he needed some new shirts so we went shopping. Well I parked at Sears and we went in where the tools are. To get to the other stores you have to go up the escalator. Darren asked me if Madison had ever been on one I said yes but I don't know if she remebers being on one. I have not been to the mall for a long time so I could not remember. Aparently she did not remember it. When we got to the top she said she wanted to go again. She really loved riding the escalator. When I told her we could not go again until we were done shopping she was very upset. Of course Daddy was embarased because his child was throwing a fit in public, I was also embarased but I guess kids will be kids. Darren and I ended up laughing about the fact that our child was not mad because we would not buy her something she wanted, she was upset that she could not ride the escalator all day long. So I have learned a very valuable lesson do not take Madison near an escalator unless you are leaving or want to ride one all day.

Happy Birthday Madison

Happy Brithday Madison. Madison had her birhtday party a few days early this year. We decided to have eveyone at our house this year and yes we all did fit. I think Madison had a ball playing with everyone and showing off. I decided that she should have a minnie mouse cake this year. She didn't really have anything but Barney that she really loves and I really did not want to do a Barney cake so Minnie mouse it was. Becky was the lucky one that got to decorate the cake. I was planning on doing it the night before but wanted to be lazy on my birthday so I was working on decorating the cake when Becky and Mom came over so Becky did it. Thank you Becky.

She got them both in one try. She is growing up way to fast it seems like just yesterday that she was born.

No night night!

Madison has been doing very good taking her naps with out her night night so last night I decided to put her to bed without it. She went to sleep pretty fast and only woke up once during the night but went right back to sleep with out it. I am so happy since the last time we tried it and it did not work at all.

1st hair cut

Madison got her first hair cut today. She really did not have much to cut but she was starting to get some stragaly hair down the back of her neck. I also thought it might help her hair grow a little faster if we got it trimed. She sat very still in her chair while Amy cut her hair. As you can see in the pictures she got a sucker to keep her busy while her hair was being cut.

Happy Birthday to Darren, and yes Madison does have an ear infection. Poor baby no wonder she did not want to sleep the other night.

worst night ever

Well last night I tried to put Madison to bed without her night night and it totally did not work. She cried for about 2 hours so I finally caved in and gave her it but that did not work. She was so upset I let her sleep in bed with Darren and I but that also did not work. She would be quiet for about 15 min. but then start screaming. I decided to lay down with her in her room but she keep doing the same thing then she asked to watch Barney by this time it was 230 in the morning so I thought if that works we will do it. We needles to say Barney but she kept tugging on her ear and saying owwie so I gave her some tylenol witch must have finally worked at 5:45 because she finally went to sleep. When I got her up at 11:00 she cried when I took her undershirt off and it caught on her ear. I am afraid that it must be an ear infection. I guess we will be going back to the Doctor's on Monday.
